Rain Rain Rain

Rain rain rain
Dripping in again
Cold dark and weary
Windows wet and bleary
Turn up the heat
Turn up the tunes
Find any way
To avoid sagging balloons
Rain rain rain
Here, missed Spain
Heart warm and cheery
Family home and neary
Turn up the burner
Sugar in the mug
Chocolate for dinner
Smile with baby’s tug
Rain rain rain
Outside on the window pane
Singing Christmas carols
Here comes those jingle bells again
Fa la la la la la la la la…

About Kitt

Sometimes a rhyme or couplet wanders across my consciousness. So, I share it. Other times I'm a hospice social worker; others, a Dad; others, southerner, New Orleanian, cajun enthusiast, voter, and on better days, a not-too-awful-poet/rhymster. Welcome to my page. Enjoy.
