Poor Little Rain Cloud

Twas a poor little rain cloud
No one liked her, no, not at all
Whenever she came out, everyone would run,
And Little Rain Cloud would just bawl and bawl

Poor Little Rain Cloud
Really loved to play
But all the other fluffy clouds
Would only run far far away

But Poor Little Rain Cloud
After one of her little rants
Marveled at the salubrious effect
She had on the robust flowering plants

And, for Poor Little Rain Cloud
God had heard of her lonely pining
Rewarded her for “exemplary watering”
And even awarded her a silver lining!

So remember, Little One,
Things may not go your way
But you can still find things
Good even about a rainy day.

About Kitt

Sometimes a rhyme or couplet wanders across my consciousness. So, I share it. Other times I'm a hospice social worker; others, a Dad; others, southerner, New Orleanian, cajun enthusiast, voter, and on better days, a not-too-awful-poet/rhymster. Welcome to my page. Enjoy.
