Tell Me A Time

Tell me: have you ever had a time when
It was good so you’d do it all again
Or perhaps you can remember a different story
When you found yourself quite wrapped up in glory
So when it comes to THE INTERVIEW
You’ll’ve something to say short & true
Never, but never, relate a lie
You’ll be caught and your job will die
Facts & figures be happy to add:
$10,000 SAVED while learning Beta-CAD
Words flow on words; apt thoughts you will lob
Tell me: Why, oh why, do you want this old job?

About Kitt

Sometimes a rhyme or couplet wanders across my consciousness. So, I share it. Other times I'm a hospice social worker; others, a Dad; others, southerner, New Orleanian, cajun enthusiast, voter, and on better days, a not-too-awful-poet/rhymster. Welcome to my page. Enjoy.
