Ann’s Mom

She plays for two churches
And she prays for us all
And if you’re nice to her kids
She might just take your call

The big meal is on Sunday
And you are probably invited
So be on time and hungry
Just don’t get too overly excited

Politics is covered by Papa
[Try not to mention TXDOT]
Oh yes she loves to read
People, places, and whatnot

They used to live in the City
Now they reside in Taylor
They even know the Police Chief
Maybe even the City Jailor

Sundays she plays in two churches
And always prays for us all
Let’s hear some prayers for her
Since she’s such a nice lady and all

About Kitt

Sometimes a rhyme or couplet wanders across my consciousness. So, I share it. Other times I'm a hospice social worker; others, a Dad; others, southerner, New Orleanian, cajun enthusiast, voter, and on better days, a not-too-awful-poet/rhymster. Welcome to my page. Enjoy.
