Did You See The Moon

Ruined, the day’s light reclined
From gold to yellow to fire orange
To pink to red to brick to slate purple to gone
As Asterisks of Emily first flecked then sprinkled the night’s dark
Where once aloft blue jay wings and corporate ailerons had slit-split the wind
Hopeful, babies’ dreams will unfold
Of blue jay wings flights from here to fancy
While other arms cuddled and cooed and tittered
And breathed finally free breaths with Enya chords
Expanding, to find the Flow, awaiting a new day’s light
Reborn, to slit-split the eastern horizon anew
From gone to purple slate to brick to red to pink
To fire orange to yellow to morning’s fresh gold
Or so I’ve been told

About Kitt

Sometimes a rhyme or couplet wanders across my consciousness. So, I share it. Other times I'm a hospice social worker; others, a Dad; others, southerner, New Orleanian, cajun enthusiast, voter, and on better days, a not-too-awful-poet/rhymster. Welcome to my page. Enjoy.
