A Secret Mission

Furtively advancing
Glancing at the Sun
This had better work
Or all will be undone

Step stool stood rightly
Just a reach will do
The lid slid off nicely
Grabbed out only two

Put the stool back home
Flitted out the door
No, two was just enough
Didn’t want any more

Made it back to base
Atop the avocado tree
The oreos went down nicely
Tomorrow I’ll go for three

About Kitt

Sometimes a rhyme or couplet wanders across my consciousness. So, I share it. Other times I'm a hospice social worker; others, a Dad; others, southerner, New Orleanian, cajun enthusiast, voter, and on better days, a not-too-awful-poet/rhymster. Welcome to my page. Enjoy.
