Come Back

Whenever I’m feeling peasly
I hug tighter my Mrs. Beasley
And whenever I’m feeling grand
Nothing beats lemon meringue
Though chocolate mousse will do

Whenever I’m thinking of you
Its most always WAH-HOO
And if you’re not there
Well, how can that be fair
But I’m sure I’ll see you soon

Remember when I made you swoon
Outside under a half-lit moon
Now you’ve gone so far away
But maybe we’ll meet again someday
Until then chocolate mousse will surely do
: )

About Kitt

Sometimes a rhyme or couplet wanders across my consciousness. So, I share it. Other times I'm a hospice social worker; others, a Dad; others, southerner, New Orleanian, cajun enthusiast, voter, and on better days, a not-too-awful-poet/rhymster. Welcome to my page. Enjoy.
