great shivering mcelroys

The thundering three great shivering mcelroys braved the icy waters at Deep Eddy
The phalanx of knee-deep standing parents smiled approvingly at the gamboling of gooseflesh as they three dove beneath the water’s surface.
Summer had just barely made it and swimming was the key item on the agenda this Saturday morning.
Deep Eddy.
Not very deep and quite unruffled.

About Kitt

Sometimes a rhyme or couplet wanders across my consciousness. So, I share it. Other times I'm a hospice social worker; others, a Dad; others, southerner, New Orleanian, cajun enthusiast, voter, and on better days, a not-too-awful-poet/rhymster. Welcome to my page. Enjoy.
