Just A Sec

Screaming violins
Came inside and popped
Smiles melted together
Reason found it’d stopped
Flaming begonias
Jasmine tea
Bubble gum ice cream
Why are you looking at me
Nurdles uncurled
Refill your glass
Where are my manners
Why was McCartney so blanking crass
When is the flight
Wanna spend the night
I’m so bored
Being so easily ignored
Popcorn guitars
Lost their chord
Toastmasters speak
Whenever floored
Wait I think I see it
Patience improved
No doubt about it
The second hand moved

About Kitt

Sometimes a rhyme or couplet wanders across my consciousness. So, I share it. Other times I'm a hospice social worker; others, a Dad; others, southerner, New Orleanian, cajun enthusiast, voter, and on better days, a not-too-awful-poet/rhymster. Welcome to my page. Enjoy.
