Identity

The reason why doesn’t want you to know
The rains that fall won’t let you in the flow
The woes that rhyme won’t fit the page
The hottie you knew is totally full of rage
You’ll never know
How it’ll go
Because you won’t listen
After the kiss, then
What?
Daddy is dying again, what a life
Out of cat food, such a bowl of strife
Churning silence surely conspires
Making the turn on balding tires
I’ll never know
Who’s next to go
Because I can’t see
Past the iniquity
What?

About Kitt

Sometimes a rhyme or couplet wanders across my consciousness. So, I share it. Other times I'm a hospice social worker; others, a Dad; others, southerner, New Orleanian, cajun enthusiast, voter, and on better days, a not-too-awful-poet/rhymster. Welcome to my page. Enjoy.
