I find myself in a darker place,
I have been here before.
Please be not too concerned,
I know the way to the door.

Wading into minuses and memories
And sadnesses by the ton.
[I do have one major super-plus:
Twill never be undone!]

Currently barely hospicing,
With those who couldn’t care.
Supplanted by a newer light:
My own made minus, to be fair.

Resolving Time will/must grind on,
I wait to see what the Future holds.
Tomorrow is another fine day:
Happy, I am reimbursed for my tolls.

About Kitt

Sometimes a rhyme or couplet wanders across my consciousness. So, I share it. Other times I'm a hospice social worker; others, a Dad; others, southerner, New Orleanian, cajun enthusiast, voter, and on better days, a not-too-awful-poet/rhymster. Welcome to my page. Enjoy.
