Mon frere

Mon frère!
Introduce me to that brunette
With the sun-kissed hair
Carrying those flip-flops
Over her now freckled shoulder.
Then, ask her please for me,
If you’d be feeling bolder,
That on any Washington beach,
If she’d thought she’d care:
Would she like to dance the sunset?
Would she dare?
Mon frère!

–bon voyage, pan wren!

About Kitt

Sometimes a rhyme or couplet wanders across my consciousness. So, I share it. Other times I'm a hospice social worker; others, a Dad; others, southerner, New Orleanian, cajun enthusiast, voter, and on better days, a not-too-awful-poet/rhymster. Welcome to my page. Enjoy.
