Whisper To Me Low

The sun is set
Take me arm in arm
Whisper to me low
How you’ll keep me from harm

Linger a time
Share the sunrise
Tell me how you really feel
Reel me in with the glance of your eyes

Dance with me at Cyprimont Point
Just a petit midnight spin
David’s at the keys
Please please just a little more sin

Share a spot of coffee
And want jam with that toast?
Whisper to me low
How you love me most

About Kitt

Sometimes a rhyme or couplet wanders across my consciousness. So, I share it. Other times I'm a hospice social worker; others, a Dad; others, southerner, New Orleanian, cajun enthusiast, voter, and on better days, a not-too-awful-poet/rhymster. Welcome to my page. Enjoy.
