Tickle A Cloud

Ok, little bird
Fly on down
Chase those flies
You funny clown
Swoop away from cat’s paws
Things are serious now
Chirping chatter all you want
Look at you soar—wow
Winds picking up
Go find your nest
Soon comes rain
Better take your rest
Early, you’ll catch your worms
While I’m still counting sheep
Winging thru another new day
Your own counsel you keep
Fly little bird
Tickle a cloud
Dive at the cat?
For crying out loud

About Kitt

Sometimes a rhyme or couplet wanders across my consciousness. So, I share it. Other times I'm a hospice social worker; others, a Dad; others, southerner, New Orleanian, cajun enthusiast, voter, and on better days, a not-too-awful-poet/rhymster. Welcome to my page. Enjoy.
