June Fest 2020

I have no regret

Running past the egret

Whilst running around my pond.

Later with some glue

I tried to repair my igloo,

But I couldn’t make it make a good bond!

Just to be clear—

I too like beer,

Just like justice Kavanaugh;

But you be the judge,

I still believe the best fudge

Comes from Island Mackinaw.

So, try not to fret—

You’ll never regret—

That, who, or what is coming real soon:

For maybe next week,

Please, try not to freak,

Twilst be a visit from a certain Ms June!

About Kitt

Sometimes a rhyme or couplet wanders across my consciousness. So, I share it. Other times I'm a hospice social worker; others, a Dad; others, southerner, New Orleanian, cajun enthusiast, voter, and on better days, a not-too-awful-poet/rhymster. Welcome to my page. Enjoy.
